I almost didn’t pick Watermelon because it seemed like the obvious one. Glad I did. It’s really juicy without just tasting like sugar, and there’s a little tang at the end that I wasn’t expecting. Pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be.
I usually go straight for mango anything, so this was an easy pick for me. What surprised me was that it doesn’t just taste like mango. There’s this tart tropical thing that comes through after and keeps it from getting too sweet. I’ve tried a lot of mango flavors and this one actually has some personality.
Honestly, I bought this one because Piña Colada sounded good that day. That was pretty much the whole decision. The pineapple comes through right away and then you get the creamy coconut after. It’s simple, but in a really good way. I’d grab it again.
I was worried this would be super sweet, but it’s actually more orange-forward than I expected. Then the creamy vanilla part shows up and it all kind of clicks. Definitely reminded me of those orange cream bars from when I was a kid. This one disappeared faster than I thought it would.
Blue Raspberry is not subtle. At all. It’s sweet and tart and has that unmistakable blue-candy flavor, which is exactly why I picked it. Probably not the one I’d choose if I wanted something mellow, but when I want something with a lot of flavor, yeah, this is it.
This was the wildcard for me because I had no idea what ‘Fizz’ was going to mean. The cherry is darker and richer than I expected, but there’s something bright behind it that keeps the whole thing from feeling heavy. Hard to describe, honestly. It was just really different from the fruit flavors I normally pick, and I liked that.
I thought Honeydew might be kind of boring. I was wrong. It’s lighter than most of the other flavors I’ve tried, but that’s actually what makes it good. Clean, a little sweet, very melon-y. This ended up being the surprise favorite for me.
I picked Gelato #33 because I already knew the name and figured it was a safe bet. The berry and citrus are the first things I noticed, but it still has that deeper Gelato flavor underneath. I like that it doesn’t try to turn it into something completely different. Familiar, just really easy to get into.
